The Port Hueneme Police Officers' Association was founded in 1984 serving the citizens of Port Hueneme with great pride and honor.  We seek to protect the citizens of Port Hueneme and surrounding communities as well as protecting those who protect the community. The goal of the Port Hueneme Police Officers' Association is to partner with the community and provide quality police service through community interaction, emphasizing the highest degree of cooperation, professionalism and ethical behavior, and to create an atmosphere of safety and security. Our community policing approach helps neighborhoods keep safe by working with our police officers daily. The Port Hueneme POA is active in our community and many of our member’s contribute to, Hueneme High School Student/Athlete Scholarship, Channel Islands High School Student/Athlete Scholarship, The Boys and Girls Club, Port Hueneme Reserve Officers Association, Port Hueneme Police Officers' Department K9 Fund, and the Port Hueneme Police Officers' Explorer Post 9988, and with in the communities where they live.  Visit our supported charities tab for more information about our charitable work.

We have proudly served the community of Port  Hueneme for the last 29 years. The Port Hueneme Police Officers' Association serves the Port Hueneme community that spans 4.4 square miles and is home to more than 24,000 people (as of the 2010 census).  We are committed to not only the safety of our citizens and business but to providing charitable contributions to those in our community who need our help the most.
